Identify egress routes throughout plant for emergencies.

An emergency can strike at any moment.  The path that is chosen by an employee can be a matter of life or death. 

Perpetration for emergency situations saves lives. Preplan for these types of evacuations, document the correct exit paths and post in highly visible locations for everyone to see. Consider the quickest and safest way out of the building, which may include crossing over conveyor lines.

Contact your conveyor system vendor to discuss options for safe egress around your system. They may even be willing to prepare a presentation-worthy document for your Emergency Action Plan.
